Advanced Life Support

In addition to basic medical equipment, advanced life support units have 12 lead cardiac monitoring equipment, I.V. solutions and medications to treat heart attacks, strokes, and all other medical emergencies.  These units are staffed by highly trained Paramedics with additional training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Trauma Life Support and Neo-Natal Resuscitation.

Specialty Equipment

Smith Ambulance Service, Inc. also operates several specialty vehicles.  Pictured is our Mass Casualty Incident trailer.  We also operate 4-wheeled vehicles, golf-cart style transport vehicles, etc.   These vehicles assist in difficult or specialized rescue situations and assist other Fire Departments in our area.

Non Emergency Medical Transportation

While many ambulance calls are serious life threatening emergencies, there is still a need for non emergency medical transportation.  Our courteous, trained personnel assist patients each day by safely transporting them to and from nursing facilities, doctors appointments, and even special family events.
